Introduction

The Department of Electrical Engineering was established in 2017 under Aryabhatta Knowledge University with an intake of 60 students for the four-year B.Tech program. The institute functions under the Department of Science, Technology and Technical Education, Government of Bihar. The department is now affiliated with Bihar Engineering University.

The department focuses on core electrical engineering areas such as power systems, electrical machines, control systems, and energy engineering. Well-equipped laboratories support practical learning, particularly in areas related to power generation, transmission, and distribution.

The department has qualified faculty with specialization in core electrical domains, along with support from visiting experts from academia and industry. It aims to develop competent engineers equipped to meet the evolving demands of the electrical engineering profession and related sectors.
