Purnea College of Engineering (PCE), Purnea is a Government Engineering College established by the Government of Bihar under the Department of Science and Technology. The institute commenced its academic journey in 2017 with the vision of providing quality technical education and nurturing competent, innovative, and socially responsible engineering professionals.
PCE currently offers undergraduate programmes in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence), Mathematics & Computing, Mechanical Engineering, and Mechatronics Engineering. The approved intake is 60 students in each programme, except Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics Engineering, which have an intake of 30 students each.
The institute is affiliated to Bihar Engineering University (BEU), Patna, and is committed to maintaining high standards of academic excellence through effective teaching-learning practices, modern laboratories, practical training, innovation, research, and skill development.
With the rapid advancement of science and technology, PCE continuously focuses on upgrading its academic programmes, teaching methodologies, and training practices in line with emerging technologies and industry requirements. The institute encourages students to develop strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, creativity, professional ethics, and leadership skills.
