Purnea College of Engineering (PCE), Purnea has a well-equipped Computer Center to cater to the computing and information technology requirements of students, faculty members, and staff of the institute. The center provides a centralized computing environment to support academic teaching, practical sessions, programming, project work, research, online learning, and various administrative activities.
The Computer Center is equipped with 60 modern computer systems connected through a Local Area Network (LAN) and provides Wi-Fi connectivity to facilitate seamless access to computing and internet resources. The facilities are utilized by students of all engineering departments for programming, software-based laboratory work, assignments, academic projects, online examinations, and other technical activities.
The center provides a reliable and secure internet and networking infrastructure to facilitate access to online educational resources, digital libraries, e-learning platforms, research journals, technical documentation, and other academic resources. The network infrastructure supports connectivity across academic and administrative facilities of the institute, enabling seamless digital communication and information sharing.
Computer programming and computational skills form an integral part of engineering education. The Computer Center supports practical courses involving programming languages, database management, web technologies, software development, data structures, algorithms, and other computer-based applications. The facility is also utilized for project development, technical workshops, seminars, training programs, and other skill-development activities organized by the institute.
The Computer Center also supports various IT-enabled academic and administrative services of PCE. It provides computing facilities for online examinations, student-related activities, preparation of academic materials, digital documentation, and other institutional requirements. Faculty members and students can utilize the available resources for academic, research, and professional development purposes.
