About the Cell

The aim and objective of the Training and Placement Cell is to take care of the students’ training programme during the college days and guide them for seeking employment by arranging campus interviews in the college, making them aware of vacancies existing in various industries/organizations and helping them to achieve employment after passing out from this institute. The cell also organizes the annual placement exercise of the institute and facilitates companies to conduct their recruitment procedure at the campus.

• Conducting soft skills, communication skills and aptitude training programmes.

• Organizing workshops, seminars, guest lectures and industry interactions.

• Facilitating internships and live projects.

• Inviting reputed companies for campus recruitment.

• Maintaining and disseminating information about job opportunities.

• Providing guidance for higher studies and competitive examinations.

Role of the Head, Training and Placement Cell

• Coordinate the overall functioning of the Training and Placement Cell.

• Develop and maintain communication with recruiters, industries and professional organizations.

• Plan and coordinate campus recruitment drives, pre-placement talks, tests and interviews.

• Supervise student training programmes aimed at improving employability and industry readiness.

• Guide students regarding career opportunities, internships, higher studies and professional development.

• Coordinate with academic departments and faculty members to ensure effective participation of eligible students. 

Students participating in placement activities are required to follow the rules and regulations prescribed by the Training and Placement Cell. Students should maintain discipline, attend scheduled training and recruitment activities regularly, provide accurate information in their placement records, and comply with the instructions issued by the Cell and visiting organizations.
